Obituary for Elizabeth Romecki (Palmer)

Elizabeth Palmer Romecki, 88, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 3, 2022 at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Erie on December 11, 1933 a daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth Vogel Palmer.

Elizabeth graduated from Academy High School and worked in housekeeping at St. Vincent Health Center. She was a member of the East Erie Assembly of God and enjoyed crossword puzzles, game shows, and Hallmark Christmas movies.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond R. Romecki; her daughter, Cheryl Patten; and three brothers, Herbert, Donald, and Robert Palmer.

Survivors include one son, Christopher Romecki (Denise) of Waterford; two daughters, Patty Romecki and Karen Baldwin (Doug), all of Erie; eight grandchildren, Melanie Baldwin (Brian), Ashton Braymiller, Jordan Gollmer (Arjeta), Devon Gollmer, Rhiannon Romecki (Josh), Kayla Zilhaver (Kenny), Brittany McLaughlin (Bryce), and Hannah Patten; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Alice Dawes of North Carolina and Nellie Stolarski (Ben) of Erie; one brother, John Palmer (Sue); and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the East Erie Assembly of God, 2653 Saltsman Rd, Erie, on Saturday December 10th at 11 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Elizabeth's family would like to sincerely thank Lakeland Area Hospice and the entire staff at Nightingale, especially Rochelle, Frank, and the third floor staff, for their compassion, friendship, and love.
