Obituary for Robin Heitzenrater (Becker)
Robin Becker Heitzenrater, 71, of Greene Township, passed away Saturday February 18, 2023 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Erie on August 11, 1951 a daughter of the late Robert J. and Lavina Ebert Becker.
Robin graduated from Academy High School. She worked at Alliance Plastics for 27 years and in the deli department at Top's. She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, the Huzar, Siebenbuerger, and St. Boniface Usher's Clubs, and the American Legion. She enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Joseph A. Heitzenrater, Jr.; her son in law, Jeremy Simons; and two sisters, Joyce Davis and Gayle Hutchison.
Survivors include three daughters, Stacey Kloszewski of Phoenix, AZ, Jodie Schwabenbauer (Jason) of Erie, and Kristi Kenyon (Jeremy) of Erie; one stepdaughter, Carla Salkic (Sani) of Erie; one stepson, Jason Heitzenrater of Erie; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a graveside service on Friday at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery (Section 11) at 10 a.m.
