Obituary for Regina B. "Jean" Horomanski (Jandora)

Regina B. "Jean" Janodora Horomanski, 99, of Erie, passed away Wednesday March 1, 2023. She was born in Lilly, PA on February 25, 1924 a daughter of the late John J. and Mary Grawolski Jandura.

Jean graduated from Cresson High School and went on to graduate from the Altoona School of Commerce. She worked as a secretary at Clifton Automatic, Weller Supply, Hofmann's Church and Religious Goods, and most recently at Mellon Bank for over 12 years before retiring in 1985. She was a founding member of St. Luke Catholic Church and belonged to the Mercy Center on Aging, North Coast Striders, and the Lighted Steeple People at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Ted" W. Horomanski; nine sisters; and four brothers.

Survivors include one son, James Horomanski (Mary) of Erie; one daughter, Marie Horomanski-Bucheral (Dave) of Erie; five grandsons, Mike (Rico), James (Amanda); Ryan, and Joe Horomanski, and Davie Bucheral ; two great grandchildren, Jimmy and Avery; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a prayer service on Monday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Luke Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
