Obituary for Diane M. Heid (Casper)
Diane M. Casper Heid, 64, of Erie, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at her residence, after her battle with cancer. She was born in Erie on October 3, 1958, a daughter of the late Gordon G. and Geraldine E. Izbicki Casper. Diane married Joseph Heid on October 1, 1983.
She graduated from Villa Maria Academy and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Gannon University where she moved forward with a career in accounting.
Diane enjoyed many activities such as camping with her family, walking, biking, reading, garden designing, but her biggest love was raising her two children. Diane also loved decorating for the holidays, especially for Halloween.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Matthew Heid of Erie; her daughter, Dr. Michelle Keyel (Peter) of Lubbock, TX; her aunts, Georgene and Gloria; and her cousins, Cindy and Rachel.
Services and burial are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
